Small Voice Calling > The Voice > Revisited
“I had the rare opportunity to restate the songs as I now see and feel them.”

In July 1970, Ralph McTell and Gus Dudgeon remixed a selection of songs from the previous two albums for a proposed American release that did not materialize. Transatlantic somewhat greedily released the album in the UK as ‘Revisited’.
Ralph wrote the sleeve note: “Often after performing newly recorded material for a time, the songs and accents change slightly, and recently when I was asked to choose material from my last two albums for an American release, I had the rare opportunity to restate the songs as I now see and feel them.
