Small Voice Calling > The Echo
This strand of Small Voice Calling reflects on themes in Ralph McTell’s songs that echo my own experiences.
The Echo is about my memories. It’s my response to Ralph’s belief that “Although life’s incidents make our individual response to situations unique, our emotions are basically the same” (Sleeve note, ‘Spiral Staircase’).
In the Olden Days this might have been called a Journal. In this E-age, a Blog.
It’s the view from my side of Ralph’s window.
